Green Foods was Founded by pharmacological researcher Yoshihide Hagiwara, MD World-renowned scientist, inventory entrepreneur and industry pioneer.
Early in his career, he developed over 200 highly successful formulas and became the owner of a leading pharmaceutical company. In developing those formulas, he experimented with many chemicals and soon realized their harmful effects. After suffering from many health issues he attributed to the abundance of chemicals in modern medicine, he turned to a natural, nutritional approach to health.
Green Foods is the grandfather of the greens category and still uses their patented drying process to produce their barley grass known as Green Magma, and their superfood formula called Magma Plus.
