Jason Spring – President and Director

Jason Spring is the President and Director of GHB. With a 15 year background in Outside Sales, Jason most recently brings 4 years of Sales Management experience with a large National Health Food Broker where he gained a wealth of experience – so much that he decided to purchase Global Health to strike out on his own. Brokering is the perfect fit for Jason as his skill set is very much suited to the role. Time Management, computer efficiency, mathematics, organization, charisma, and passion are some of Jason’s key attributes that lend so well to the Broker business. Jason wears many hats at GHB as any owner should.  Of primary focus is Marketing, Brand Management & Western Key Accounts.  As much as Jason loves his business, his primary passion is his family made up of his lovely wife Jennifer and three terrific children; Elijah, Samuel and Gabriella. Matthew Cooper – Metro Vancouver & Vancouver Island Account Manager

Matt recently began his career in the health food industry with GHB after a successful tenure in Finance.  Already Matt has placed his stamp on the position and is learning very quickly how to manage the many facets of brokering.  He brings to the table his experience supervising a nationwide Customer Service centre based in Vancouver BC at a mutual fund and securities broker. His interpersonal and customer satisfaction skills transfer directly from a financial brokerage to our health product brokerage, as he’s taken on the Account Manager position for Vancouver and Vancouver Island. He is also experienced in the direct sales process, being a licensed securities broker and having a background in private finance and investment banking.   Matt is excited to match his sales skills to the industry whose products have become the cornerstone of his diet of the last few year.  You can reach Matt at matt@ghbd.ca or (604) 807-7656.

Kim Sigurdson – BC Interior Account Manager

Picture3Kim Sigurdson is our BC Interior Account Manager. She brings a wealth of education to her role including a B.Sc. in Clinical Nutrition and a diploma in Biological Sciences Technology. Natural Health has always been her passion and it prompted her to further her education in both Herbology and Natural Nutrition. Book smarts aside, Kim has a firm understanding of our industry as a whole with 15 years experience working at the Vendor, Distributor, and now Broker level. Kim is well know and loved in her territory, having built long lasting relationships with her stores that are unrivaled in her territory. John Debs – Quebec Account Manager

John Debs is now our Account Manager for the Ottawa and Quebec Markets. John has worked with us for quite some time and we’ve recently promoted him to this new role to better utilize his unique skill set. John has a long history in our industry working for companies such as Flora Inc, Koyo Foods and MTB. Groupe 8 – Ontario & Atlantic Sales Partners

GHB has formed a strategic alliance with Groupe 8 Brand Management & Consulting Services in Ontario & Atlantic Canada.  Groupe 8 was founded by a group of industry professionals with decades of combined experience.  Our alliance has their Account Managers calling on Eastern Canada stores on behalf of GHB, while we still maintain 100% of the Marketing and Brand Management roles across Canada – the best of both worlds!

Sean Crockett is the founder of Groupe 8  and he holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology.  He left the medicine stream in school in order to pursue his interests in Holistic Sciences and Alternative Medicines.  Sean left his thriving practice in order to get in on the ground floor of the natural foods business at the Fortino’s Grocery Chain.  He was the department manager for one store while being responsible for all planograms and  new store set-ups.  When Loblaws acquired Fortinos, Sean realized it was the right time to leave so he became a food broker.  He has worked with many large, prominent brands in the natural foods industry such as Food For Life, Bob’s Red Mill and Thai Kitchen.  Sean can be reached at seanG8@ghbd.ca or (905) 923-3111.
